CNC Turning

Apogee’s investment in a variety of high speed multi spindle CNC lathes allow rapid production of precision CNC turned parts of both one-off prototypes and volume production runs. A number of the machines are equipped with multi-tasking capabilities which allows a combination of milling and turning operations to be performed at the same time and allowing the completion of a finished component in a single set up.

Apogee have turned components for a wide range of industries from Motorsport, Oil & Gas through to Defence projects. We were able to support the Bloodhound project with the production of the brake disc assembles.

We can program and machine directly from a 3D model or create programs from 2D drawings, depending on your requirements due to our integrated Solidworks CAM/CAM system.

All our work can be quantified due to our inhouse metrology clean room and any manufactured component can be provided with a full inspection report.
