Metrology

Apogee operates a 1100 square foot climate-controlled Metrology clean room with a 5 meter LK G90C as the centre piece with a full 5 axis probe and multiply probe tool changers. The machine carries a UKAS accreditation to ensure the ongoing quality and accuracy of our measurement services. As well ensuring the quality of the components manufactured in house Apogee are also able to offer a sub contract inspection service.

Reverse engineering

Need to know the dimensions of an existing component or the size of a feature? We can reverse engineer it and provide you with a 3D CAD model, drawing or point and vector data. Due to our 5 meter capacity we can accommodate most projects from a simple bracket to a whole race car.

Inspection Services

Do you have a component that is too large for your in-house capabilities or are you running at maximum capacity? Apogee can offer a sub contract inspection service for you with the ability to measure up to 5 meters. (Measuring up to 10 meters is possible by repositioning the work piece on the table) We can write inspection programs from scratch or send us your existing proven program to run with your parts. (Program must be compatible with PC Dmis)
